Champions Matchday's last-eight lineup

Sergio Ramos, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Daniel Alves lead the lineup for the quarter-final edition of Champions Matchday – get your copy ahead of next week's games.

With just eight teams left in the competition, the latest edition of Champions Matchday sits down with three of its star players. Real Madrid CF's Sergio Ramos discusses being happy to take responsibility, missed spot kicks and his best position; Bastian Schweinsteiger opens up about his penalty woe in last season's final with FC Bayern München; and FC Barcelona right-back Daniel Alves says taking risks is the only way he knows.

Galatasaray AŞ are packed with stellar names and Didier Drogba tells us exclusively that he joined the Turkish side to reignite his passion for the game. Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus is revelling in his first UEFA Champions League campaign and team-mate Mario Götze pays tribute to the part the club's supporters have played in their success.

Paris Saint-Germain FC forward Lucas explains how he was "born to play" as he remembers his childhood in Brazil, and we look at five reasons why the Paris outfit are confident of getting a result against Barcelona.

Juventus like to change their front line around and we hear from top scorer Fabio Quagliarella about how he is happy to be one of the gang – and will always take a chance no matter how long the odds. Málaga CF have a perfect blend of youth and experience in attack, and we consider how the Liga team are no longer seen as dark horses but as genuine contenders.

Elsewhere we revisit some of the most memorable quarter-final ties; examine how playmaking has expanded to every area of the pitch; offer the essential guide to becoming a UEFA Champions League-winning coach; and ask if the Premier League's absence from the last eight is a one-season glitch or the start of a trend.

All this, plus the expert view on the upcoming matches and much, much more.

This Champions Matchday edition is available across Europe from today and also comes in digital versions, which can be purchased on Apple Newsstand or Zinio. This season, for the first time, Champions Matchday is available before each round of the UEFA Champions League and you can follow the magazine on Twitter @ChampionsMag.
