Who is the competition's greatest keeper?

The UEFA.com Matchday Live show, on air from 19.30CET on Tuesday and Wednesday, wants to know – who is the greatest keeper in UEFA Champions League history?

Just eight teams remain and after the drama of the round of 16, expect plenty more on UEFA.com's Matchday Live show in the quarter-finals.

On Tuesday, on air from 19.30CET, we will hear from Paris Saint Germain FC's new playmaker Lucas ahead of full match commentary of their home encounter against FC Barcelona, with updates from FC Bayern München's meeting with Juventus.

Considering the brilliant goalkeepers in action on Tuesday – Manuel Neuer, Víctor Valdés, Gianluigi Buffon and Salvatore Sirigu – we have been debating in the office about who is the greatest UEFA Champions League custodian of all time and why. What do you think?

Iker Casillas excelled in the 2002 final

Despite having never won it, Buffon has been one of the competition's best performers over the years, while Valdés's name came up a few times as a three-time winner with Barça. Real Madrid CF's Iker Casillas turned his cameo in the 2002 UEFA Champions League final into a starring role when he came off the bench against Bayer 04 Leverkusen in arguably one of the competition's greatest individual performances.

Peter Schmeichel's heroics in Manchester United FC's run-in to their 1999 treble were his final contribution to a remarkable career at Old Trafford, while Edwin van der Sar, Angelo Peruzzi, Oliver Kahn and Petr Čech all merited notable mentions too. Or do they?

On Wednesday we gauge the thoughts of Sami Khedira and Didier Drogba ahead of Galatasaray AŞ's trip to Madrid, before commentary of the full 90 minutes. Fellow Liga side Málaga CF's run in the competition continues to surprise, and we will have news as it happens from La Rosaleda as they host Borussia Dortmund.

Spain is well represented as usual, with three teams in the last eight, and the Bundesliga boast two serious UEFA Champions League contenders in Bayern and Dortmund. Which nation's league you think has achieved the most in the competition so far this season.
