Already through, PFC Ludogorets Razgrad completed a UEFA Europa League Group B double over PSV Eindhoven in Sofia to confirm top spot in the section.

Having also scored in the Netherlands, Roman Bezjak got a goal in each half to match the scoreline when the sides first met on matchday one, Stoicho Stoev's team eventually pressing their advantage after Jeffrey Bruma's dismissal on 55 minutes. The Bulgarian champions are certain to finish top of Group B, while it would take a defeat at home to FC Chornomorets Odesa on matchday six for PSV to be denied second place.

With snow on the ground and an orange ball on the pitch, it was not a night for particularly elegant football, though PSV looked to have the more hunger. Luciano Narsingh did his best to create openings, firing in some dangerous balls from the right, only for Ludogorets to make the breakthrough against the run of play on 38 minutes.

Bezjak turned Karim Rekik one way and then the other before hitting a powerful low shot past Jeroen Zoet which the last defender, Santiago Arias, could not keep out. Mihail Aleksandrov then sent an effort just wide of the post with time running out in the first period.

Bruma was shown a second yellow card for hauling down Bezjak nine minutes after the restart, yet Ludogorets found a second goal hard to come by. Marcelinho and Aleksandrov both missed the target before Bezjak directed the ball into Zoet's arms from close range. The Slovenia striker was to have the last word, though, lifting his finish neatly beyond Zoet's outstretched right hand after Júnior Caiçara cut the ball in from the right.
