Lithuania will look to maintain their ongoing clean sheet in games against San Marino as the sides come together again in UEFA EURO 2016 qualifying Group E.

Lithuania will look to get some points on the board in UEFA EURO 2016 Group E as they take on a San Marino side who have not scored a competitive away goal in over 14 years.

• The following players are a yellow card away from a ban: Deividas Česnauskis, Karolis Chvedukas, Deivydas Matulevičius, Marius Žaliukas (Lithuania), Manuel Battistini, Alex Gasperoni, Mirko Palazzi, Andy Selva and Davide Simoncini (San Marino).

Previous meetings
• Strikes from Deivydas Matulevičius and Arvydas Novikovas secured a 2-0 win for Lithuania in the sides' first Group E meeting.

• Lithuania have won all three games against San Marino without conceding.

• The teams were paired in 2006 FIFA World Cup qualifying. Algimantas Liubinskas's Lithuania beat Giampaolo Mazza's San Marino 4-0 in the sides' initial encounter in Kaunas on 9 September 2004. Edgaras Jankauskas (18 50), Tomas Danilevičus (65) and Andrius Gedgaudas (90+2) were all on target.

• The return leg in Serravalle on 17 November the same year was much tighter, Deividas Česnauskis (42) getting the only goal as Lithuania prevailed 1-0.

• Lithuania have lost three of their last four home qualifiers. Moreover they suffered defeat on their travels on Saturday, 1-0 in Estonia, while San Marino were being hit for six by England in Serravalle.

• San Marino have lost their last 34 competitive away games without scoring, their last away goal coming in a 1-1 draw against Latvia in April 2001. Their competitive away record in all competitions reads D1 L58, with just four goals scored.

• In seven UEFA age-group meetings with Lithuania, San Marino's record is W0 D1 L6. However, four of those victories were by one-goal margins; most recently, Lithuania won 2-1 at home and 1-0 in Serravalle in qualifying for the 2015 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.
