UEFA Champions League draw reaction

UEFA.com rounds up the reaction from across the continent following Friday's UEFA Champions League third qualifying round draw in Nyon.

It's always best to avoid long trips, but it doesn't mean it'll be easy. We will have to be at our best to impose our style. It won't be simple but it's through these kind of games that we can grow.

Jonatan Soriano, FC Salzburg captain

Both teams are not that well known by name, but we need to go into the tie with maximum respect as there is a reason that one of them will make it to the third qualifying round of the Champions League.

Kent Nielsen, Aalborg BK coach

I wouldn't have minded playing Celtic. They have not started their league yet and we would have had a decent chance against them. Salzburg would probably have been the strongest team we could have been drawn against. We are not going to be favourites whatever.

Every draw has its pros and cons. We will be looking in detail at our opponents but the most important thing is for us to be ready and strong to ensure that we are the ones who go through to the play-offs.

We need to concentrate on our second leg against Žalgiris and then if we go through we will think about Aalborg and their strengths. I know everybody will talk about Aalborg now, but we still have a job to do.

Standard are a dangerous side, very strong in midfield and attack, with quick creative players. They have quality but also weak points. We believe in our side and we want to show what we are capable of in Europe as well.

They are a team with a lot of quality and the team I least wanted to meet. First of all it will be a long trip, and also they are a really good team. It will be a great achievement if we can make it.

Slaven Bilić, Beşiktaş JK coach

We will play against a team who represent a school of football – a team that had five players at the FIFA World Cup. They have a new coach [Fred Rutten] and one of their players [Bruno Martins Indi] left for Porto. I am definitely optimistic that we have a great chance of reaching the play-offs.

We are not tourists, so it doesn't matter where we go next – Norway or Romania. We have a job to do and we have to do it well. We haven't done it yet, as we still have the second leg against FC Dinamo Tbilisi. The tie is not decided yet.
