UEFA open day: see behind the scenes

UEFA will mark its 60th birthday by opening its doors to the public and sharing its passion for football – go behind the scenes at the House of European Football and join the celebrations.

On 4 October, to celebrate its 60th birthday, UEFA is opening its doors to fans of football.

In a unique opportunity to visit UEFA's Swiss headquarters in Nyon – and mingle with champions – this free open day will be a chance to learn much about European football's governing body. You can see the trophies at the House of European Football and visit the command centre, the nerve centre of operations during matchdays. Visitors will also get to watch a specially produced film: 60 years of UEFA.

The open day will be active as well as informative, with plenty of activities on offer at the adjoining Colovray sports centre. Workshops will be organised for footballers of all levels. From ball control to juggling and penalty taking, guests will be spoilt for choice. There will be plenty of prizes to be won and opportunities for members of the public to rub shoulders with a number of big names in football. In short: a day not to be missed, full of excitement and discovery.
