Following Saturday's domestic action, uefa.com brings you up to date with the latest UEFA Champions League squad news for teams in Groups A-D.

Group A
AS Monaco FC had Diego Perez sent off in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Olympique Lyonnais, a point which keeps them at the top of Ligue 1. Shabani Nonda and Javier Chevanton did not play but could return after lengthy absences to face RC Deportivo la Coruña on Tuesday. The Spanish side are still without Mauro Silva (calf strain), yet will welcome back Diego Tristán after a stomach complaint. The striker did not play in yesterday's 1-1 draw against Real Betis Balompié, a match in which Fran González impressed before being substituted for tactical reasons.

Striker Djibril Cissé could be a doubt for Liverpool FC's trip to Athens having limped off with a slight strain towards the end of the 3-0 Premiership defeat of Norwich City FC. The Frenchman was among the scorers at Anfield as the Reds coped without their talisman Steven Gerrard, the England midfield player having broken a bone in his foot playing against Manchester United FC last Monday. Giovanni scored the only goal as Olympiacos CFP beat FC Aris Thessaloniki. Coach Dusan Bajevic took Rivaldo off in the 46th minute to rest him, bringing on Milos Maric after he recovered from injury. Grigorios Georgatos and Gabriel Schürrer stayed in Athens in order to enhance their chances of playing against Liverpool.

Group B
Two clubs in crisis meet at the Santiago Bernabéu as Real Madrid CF take on AS Roma, who could be without a coach after Rudi Völler offered to resign following the 3-1 defeat by nine-man Bologna FC. Christian Panucci and Philippe Mexes suffered slight muscle injuries ahead of the game, joining Cristian Chivu on the injury list, and face a race to be fit. New Madrid coach Ramon García Remón's restructuring did not bear fruit as the Spanish side lost 2-1 at Athletic Club de Bilbao. Roberto Carlos was a substitute as Raúl Bravo assumed the left-back duties, David Beckham and Albert Celades played in central midfield with Guti deployed behind Ronaldo. Zinedine Zidane is out (dislocated shoulder) and Michael Owen has a troublesome hamstring.

França will make the Bayer 04 Leverkusen squad for the away game at FC Dynamo Kyiv after shaking off an ankle injury to feature in the 3-0 loss to VfB Stuttgart. Roque Junior is out with a groin strain, while Hanno Balitsch, Daniel Bierofka and Clemens Fritz are all out with long-term injuries. The Ukrainian champions should be fresh for the fixture having rested regulars Olexander Shovkovskiy, Badr El-Kaddouri, Jerko Leko, Ayila Youssouf and Diogo Rincon for Friday's 1-0 victory against against FC Metalurh Donetsk. Brazilian defender Rodolfo returns from suspension, although Valentin Belkevich and Serhiy Fedorov remain injured.

Group C
FC Bayern München have no new injury worries for the visit of AFC Ajax. Mehmet Scholl and Sebastian Deisler were not risked for the 3-1 weekend victory against SC Freiburg but should recover from minor knocks to participate on Tuesday. Alexander Zickler (broken leg) and Roque Santa Cruz (knee) are the only absentees. Striker Yannis Anastasiou, starting in place of Wesley Sonck, scored Ajax's only goal against Roda JC on Saturday. Czech midfield player Tomáš Galásek sat out the game but has resumed full training and hopes to be fit, while defender Zdenek Grygera did not make the starting XI as he rested a training-ground injury, but Mauro Rosales did return from a groin injury. Goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg (knee) is not expected to play.

Juventus FC dropped their first points and conceded a first goal of the season at home against US Città di Palermo, although they did recover from 1-0 down to draw with the Sicilians. Alessandro Del Piero was replaced by David Trezeguet at half-time, and Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic equalised soon after. Defenders Ciro Ferrara and Paolo Montero are still injured. Maccabi Tel-Aviv FC did not play a domestic match due to Yom Kippur.

Group D
Manchester United FC
recorded their first away win of the season at Tottenham Hotspur FC with England central defender Rio Ferdinand excelling in his second match after an eight-month suspension. Wayne Rooney did not play but could make his first Champions League appearance against Fenerbahçe SK. The 18-year-old, signed from Everton FC in August, has recovered from a foot injury, while Gary Neville and Louis Saha could also return after training this week. The Turkish champions had Alex to thank for maximum points as the Brazil midfield player scored both goals in a 2-1 defeat of Gençlerbirligi SK, the winner in added time. An achilles tendon problem prevented forward Serhat Akin from playing on Friday but he could feature at Old Trafford.

AC Sparta Praha are in good health for the visit of Lyon having recorded their sixth victory in a row on Friday. Captain Karel Poborský scored once and created three more goals in the 4-2 win against FC Marila Príbram, and Milan Pacanda, the Czech league's leading scorer, was again on target. The French champions missed out on an opportunity to wrest the leadership of Ligue 1 on Saturday as they were held by Monaco. Key defender Eric Abidal joined Giovane Elber on Lyon's long-term injury list this week.
