Bad break for Jestrovic

RSC Anderlecht striker Nenad Jestrovic will be out for at least a month after breaking his left arm.

Injury absence
"Nenad Jestrovic is out for four weeks after breaking his arm in the match against Inter," Anderlecht said in a statement on Thursday. Jestrovic was taken off on 71 minutes and is now expected to miss Anderlecht's next two Champions League matches, both against German champions Werder Bremen, on 20 October and 2 November.

International blow
The Serbia and Montenegro forward, who was sidelined for most of last season after tearing knee ligaments in August 2003, will also sit out the Group 7 FIFA World Cup qualifiers away to Bosnia-Herzegovina on 9 October and at home to San Marino four days later. Jestrovic scored twice in his country's 3-0 win in San Marino last month.

Poor start
The news comes as a further blow to Anderlecht, who are bottom of Group G having failed to pick up a point in two matches so far, against Valencia CF and Inter.
