Trezeguet suffers shoulder setback

Juventus FC will be without David Trezeguet for at least two weeks as he undergoes physiotherapy.

Shoulder dislocation
Trezeguet dislocated his left shoulder during last Sunday's 1-0 Serie A win at Udinese Calcio, and underwent a scan today in Turin. According to Juventus doctor Riccardo Agricola, he will have physiotherapy before it is decided whether surgery is needed. "We have not decided yet," said Agricola. "Trezeguet will undergo physiotherapy for the moment and then we will evaluate his condition again."

Long-standing problems
The forward, who turns 27 next week, has had problems with his shoulder for the last year and can expect to be sidelined for around four months if he has the operation. In addition to missing France's FIFA World Cup qualifiers against the Republic of Ireland and Cyprus, he will also sit out Juventus's UEFA Champions League game against FC Bayern München on 19 October.
