Semberas may be sidelined

PFC CSKA Moskva defender Deividas Semberas could miss next week's visit to Chelsea FC.

PFC CSKA Moskva defender Deividas Semberas could miss the first game of the Russian champions' Group H double-header against Chelsea FC because of a knee injury.

Doubtful
Semberas will miss the Lithuanian national team's FIFA World Cup qualifier against Spain this week because of strained knee ligaments and is now a doubt for next Wednesday's away match against Chelsea.

'Needs treatment'
The right-back has been unable to train this week because of pain in the knee area and Lithuania coach Algimantas Liubinskas said: "Semberas's injury needs treatment. Maybe he will be fit to take part in CSKA's next Champions League fixture but unfortunately he is not ready to play now."

Return postponed
Semberas was due to make his international return this week following a four-match suspension incurred by his sending-off in a UEFA EURO 2004™ qualifier against Iceland
