Scan confirms absence
The 26-year-old Italian international had been ever-present this season before being ruled out of yesterday's 2-0 Serie A win against FC Messina Peloro. A scan subsequently revealed the extent of the injury to his right leg, sidelining the former Atalanta BC player for a month.

Egaleo date
While Zauri is expected to sit out the trip to Middlesbrough FC on 4 November and the visit of FK Partizan to Rome three weeks later, he could return for the 2 December fixture at Egaleo FC, which will conclude Lazio's group campaign. Capped five times by Italy, Zauri will also miss next month's friendly international against Finland.
