Görlitz, who came on as a half-time substitute, had to be taken off after 69 minutes. The 22-year-old was attended to immediately by Bayern's medical staff and their worst fears were confirmed as scans revealed he had torn a cruciate ligament in his left knee.
Summer signing
Görlitz, a German international, has played seven Bundesliga matches and two Champions League ties for Bayern this season after joining from local rivals TSV 1860 München in the summer.
