San Marino wait goes on

San Marino 1-2 Lithuania The visitors come from behind to deny the home side an historic result.

Turnaround
Sammarinese hopes of a first home point in the competition in 24 attempts were raised by Mattia Masi's goal on the stroke of half-time in Serravalle. But Tomas Mikuckis drew the visitors level in the 69th minute and four minutes later Arturas Rimkevicius converted a penalty to complete the turnaround.

Still without a win
The result lifted Lithuania to third place behind Belgium on goal difference, while San Marino stay bottom of the section with no points from four matches. The home side have now lost all 48 competitive games played at U21 level, including a default win against Sweden in 2003, awarded after the Swedes selected ineligible players.
