Thigh strain sidelines Soldo

Zvonimir Soldo will be missing for VfB Stuttgart's final Group G game against NK Dinamo Zagreb next week.

A thigh injury means VfB Stuttgart captain Zvonimir Soldo will be unable to play as the German side attempt to win UEFA Cup Group G against NK Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday.

Training injury
The 37-year-old Croatian midfielder has played in all of Stuttgart's 16 Bundesliga fixtures and their five European matches this season. However, he tore a muscle in training yesterday and the Swabian club confirmed today that Soldo will sit out tomorrow's league game at FC Bayern München and the visit of his countrymen in midweek.

Draw enough
A victory against Dinamo would be enough for Stuttgart to win their UEFA Cup pool and advance to the last 32 as leaders SL Benfica have finished their programme. The Croatian team could progress with a draw if SC Heerenveen fail to beat KSK Beveren in the Netherlands.
