Ruslan Bidnenko has left one Ukrainian UEFA Cup challenger for another after agreeing to join FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk on a three-year contract from FC Dynamo Kyiv.
The midfield player completed the deal last night and this morning flew to Turkey with his new team-mates for a training camp. "Dnipro bought out my contract at Dynamo and all that's left now is for me to pick my squad number," said Bidnenko.
The 23-year-old joined Dynamo in December 2003 from FC Borysfen Boryspil and helped the capital club to the league title in 2003/04. However, Bidnenko has not featured in Europe this season, meaning he will be eligible to represent Dnipro - who next play FK Partizan in the Round of 32 - if registered.
