AFC Ajax's Nigerian attacker Pius Ikedia has agreed to join Dutch league leaders AZ Alkmaar in the summer.
Out of contract
The Nigerian international, who has been on loan at Eredivisie side RBC Roosendahl since the summer of 2003, has signed a three-year contract with Alkmaar which will come into force on 1 July after his existing contract with Ajax expires.
Dribbling skills
The diminutive 24-year-old, prized for his dribbling, has scored four goals in nine games so far this season. He made his debut for Ajax in November 1999 and played a total of 25 games for the club, scoring twice. He went on to score once in 26 games during a 2002/03 loan spell at FC Groningen.
