Group A set for thrilling finale

uefa.com considers all the qualifying permutations in Group A, with an "exciting finish" in prospect on Saturday.

Thrilling finale
Sweden are still looking for their first win after drawing with Denmark and Finland, but with all four sides in with a chance of reaching the semi-finals, this section will go to the wire. Sweden take on second-placed England at Ewood Park, Blackburn, while leaders Denmark face Finland at Bloomfield Road in Blackpool.

'Lovely game'
"It's set for an exciting finish on Saturday and it will be a lovely game against England with plenty to play for in front of a big crowd," Domanski-Lyfors told uefa.com. "It will be a great game for both teams."

'Must-win game'
England coach Hope Powell will be calling on her team to put Wednesday's dramatic defeat by Denmark behind them as they prepare for the Swedes. "We now have to treat Sweden as a must-win game," she said. "We've got to pick ourselves up and do the business on Saturday."

'More quality'
Denmark's Peter Bonde, meanwhile, warned there is more to come from his side. "We are a team of fighters and anyone who saw our first game will know we have more quality than we showed today," he said after the victory against the hosts. "This win leaves us a point from the semi-finals and I think, if we play like we did against Sweden, we can achieve that goal against the Finns."

'Give everything'
Finland coach Michael Käld begs to differ. "It feels great to have everything in our own hands," he said. "Denmark is a really strong side and they will be hard to beat, but we will definitely give everything we have on Saturday."

Danish goal
The Danes need only avoid defeat against Finland to advance, and should they do so a point would also be enough to see England through. A win in Blackburn would send Sweden or England into the semi-finals, while Finland will progress if they beat Denmark, ahead of the Danes on head-to-head if the other game ends in a victory for either side.

Other possibilities
Should Denmark and England draw, Finland would go through with the hosts in second if the Finns win by a two-goal or greater margin. A 1-0 or 2-1 Finnish win and draw in Blackburn would see them go through behind England, and if Finland win 3-2, 4-3 or with an even higher-scoring one-goal margin and the other match ends level, Finland and Denmark would progress in that order.

Should teams finish level on points, they will be separated by the following criteria:
a) Number of points obtained in the matches among the teams in question.
b) Goal difference resulting from the matches among the teams in question.
c) Number of goals scored in the matches among the teams in question.
d) Goal difference in all the group matches.
e) Number of goals scored in all the group matches.
f) Fair Play ranking
g) Drawing of lots
