Womé wins Inter approval

FC Internazionale Milano have recruited the defender Pierre Womé on a free transfer from Brescia Calcio.

'Main target'
"We have been following Womé's performances for many months and he was one of our main targets," said Inter's technical director Marco Branca. "Womé is still young but has plenty of experience. He can cover different roles and last season he played very well at left-back for Brescia."

One-year deal
Womé has agreed a one-year contract with the Nerazzurri, whom he joins after spells at AS Roma, Bologna FC, Fulham FC and RCD Espanyol among others. Last season he scored three goals in 16 games after arriving at Brescia in January. He has registered once in 59 appearances for Cameroon.
