Wisla seal Dudka deal

Polish champions Wisla Kraków have strengthened their squad by signing international defender Dariusz Dudka.

Polish champions Wisla Kraków have strengthened their squad by signing international defender Dariusz Dudka from Amica Sport ahead of their UEFA Champions League third qualifying round tie with Panathinaikos FC.

Five-year deal
The 21-year-old passed medical tests last week and subsequently signed a five-year contract with Wisla. Capped three times by his country, Dudka will link up with his former Amica teammates Tomasz Dawidowski and Marek Zienczuk, who signed for Wisla last year.

'Step forward'
Dudka said: "Wisla are the best Polish team and are fighting to qualify for the UEFA Champions League. This transfer will be a step forward in my playing career."
