Late goals
The counter-attacking performance from Imre Gellei's side will put the Magyars in good heart for their upcoming match in Group 4 as late goals from Zsolt Löw and Pál Dárdai wrapped up the victory. Löw broke through the Icelandic defence to shoot goalwards in the 80th minute, and though Iceland goalkeeper Birkir Kristinsson looked to have the effort covered, he allowed the ball to squirm through his grip and into the net.
Superb strike
Iceland tried desperately to get back on level terms but their defence opened up again a minute from time and Dárdai took advantage to net Hungary's second with a superb effort from outside the box.
