Gabri setback for Barcelona

The FC Barcelona midfield player Gabri García will be out of action for the next six weeks after spraining a ligament in his left ankle.

'Worrying injury'
Club doctor Gil Rodas said: "Gabri has a sprain to the lateral internal ligament of his left ankle. This is a worry as any damage to the ligament requires careful treatment." The 26-year-old is ruled out of Barça's opening UEFA Champions League matches at Werder Bremen on 14 September, then at home to Udinese Calcio a fortnight later.
