Magath hungry for more success

Our play was excellent in the first half. But I am not satisfied with our efficiency in front of goal. We failed to score a third which would have brought the match to an early conclusion. I think that a bigger margin of victory would have been deserved. However, we have proved we can compete with the top teams in Europe. This result shows that we belong among the best in the UEFA Champions League. We have the quality to win the trophy this season and I am really hungry to do so. Our win was not a surprise for me because we had already been the better side in both matches last season. Now, we aim to win the group.

If you lose at Bayern, it is not a big shock. They are a big and excellent team. I think we have learned and we will give our best to win the match on home soil against them. But I am disappointed because we did not respond after conceding the goals. I do not want to blame Christian Abbiati for the opener, it was not his mistake. In the end, there's no excuse for this defeat.
