Valencia CF's Argentinian midfield player Kily González is set to miss next week's UEFA Champions League tie at FC Spartak Moskva with a knee injury.

Extent of injury unknown
It will be "four or five days" before Valencia know the extent of the knee sprain Kily sustained in training yesterday, but he is already out of the weekend league game against Málaga CF and is likely to face a longer spell on the sidelines.

'Problem with the ligament'
Club doctor Jordi Candel said: "Following the initial medical examination and ultrasound, we can say that there is a problem with the ligament of the left and also the meniscus." Valencia opened their Group B account with a 2-0 home defeat of Liverpool FC on Tuesday night.
