Brown braced for United comeback

Manchester United FC could welcome defender Wes Brown back to the fold on Wednesday but Louis Saha's comeback hopes have been put on hold.

Solitary appearance
Brown has made just one appearance this season, against Debreceni VSC in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round, before an achilles injury confined him to the sidelines. The 26-year-old has now recovered and is expected to take to the field against fourth division Barnet at Old Trafford, when he could be one of the most experienced players in a youthful side.

Saha hamstrung
However, there will be no place for Saha after the striker twinged a hamstring in training on Tuesday. The 27-year-old has not played this term after undergoing knee surgery during the summer. Goalkeeper Tim Howard and midfielders Liam Miller, Kieran Richardson and Darren Fletcher are all set to start against Barnet, while 18-year-olds Giuseppe Rossi and Gerard Piqué could get a rare outing.
