Bremen relieved at Klose recovery

German international striker Miroslav Klose is fit for Werder Bremen's game with Udinese Calcio on Wednesday after recovering from a calf injury.

Werder Bremen will be able to call on Miroslav Klose as they play host to Udinese Calcio on Wednesday night in the UEFA Champions League Group C after it was discovered that an injury the German international striker suffered at the weekend was not as serious as first feared.

'Klose can play'
The Bremen forward has fully recovered from a calf injury that he suffered in Saturday's 4-1 home Bundeliga win against Eintracht Frankfurt and returned to training on Monday morning. "He can play against the Italian team," confirmed coach Thomas Schaaf.

Jensen out
However, Schaaf will be without the services of midfielder Daniel Jensen, who is still not completely fit due to problems with his adductor muscles. The Danish international will return for Saturday's league game at FC Bayern München at the earliest.
