Klose counted out by facial injury

Werder Bremen striker Miroslav Klose will be out for around three weeks after breaking a bone in his face during the defeat at FC Barcelona.

'Very sad'
The German international, who leads the Bundesliga scoring charts with 14 goals, had to leave the Camp Nou pitch in the 56th minute after clashing heads with Barcelona defender Rafael Márquez. "It's very sad," said Bremen coach Thomas Schaaf. "He has broken a bone in his face and is now being examined in hospital. He will have to be operated on and will be out of action for about three weeks." This will rule the 27-year-old out of the Matchday 6 visit of Panathinaikos FC.
