The injury is less serious than first feared but Mostovoi will miss Thursday's first leg at the Balaídos stadium and is doubtful for the weekend league game against Club Athletic Bilbao.

Prognosis good
The Russian international midfield player had to be substituted ten minutes into Sunday's stalemate against Club Atlético de Madrid, although the initial prognosis is good. "I won't be involved on Thursday and will have to wait and see if I can play against Bilbao," said Mostovoi, who is likely to be available for the return in Stavanger on 14 November.
