Ukraine forward Artem Milevskiy plans to spend the next five years "making a name for himself" at FC Dynamo Kyiv after agreeing a new contract until 2011.
Superb summer
Milevskiy started his footballing education in Minsk in his native Belarus but has made impressive strides since joining the Dynamo academy in 2001. Now 21, he is enjoying a summer to remember, having starred as Ukraine reached the final of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship and helped his country to the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup on their debut appearance in the competition.
'Potential'
Milevskiy said: "We want to make our fans happy and that means winning the title in Ukraine and playing well in the UEFA Champions League - where we should not just learn from the level of competition but make a name for ourselves too. Dynamo are a great club and I'll stay for five years." Club president Igor Surkis added: "We want Milevskiy to fulfil his potential. He is one of the best players of his generation and is the future of Dynamo Kyiv along with Ruslan Rotan, Oleh Gusev and others."
