PFC Levski Sofia coach Stanimir Stoilov has extended his contract until the end of the 2008/09 season.

Bulgarian history
Stoilov, 39, guided Levski to the UEFA Champions League group stage last week, a first for Bulgarian club football. "I am delighted to have signed this new deal. It is a reward for my work and for the achievements of the team," Stoilov said. "I decided to prolong my contract as my plans for the future coincide with the club's plans and that is the most important thing." Stoilov took charge at Levski in summer 2004 and, in 2005, won the Bulgarian Cup and Super Cup. Last season he steered the blue side of Sofia to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup as well as the domestic title.
