FC København have paid a price for their first point in UEFA Champions League Group F with winger Jesper Grønkjær suffering the suspected recurrence of a groin injury.

Linderoth concern
"It doesn't look good," said captain Tobias Linderoth after Wednesday's 0-0 home draw with SL Benfica. "We'll have to wait and see what's happened with him." Grønkjær fell to the ground clutching his groin after shooting from the edge of the area late in the first half in the Danish capital. He tried to keep on playing, but his limping grew increasingly pronounced and he had to be substituted before the break. Grønkjær, 29, could miss the 26 September trip to Celtic FC, when Sweden forward Marcus Allbäck will return from suspension.
