Igor Budan could make his senior debut for Croatia in Israel on Wednesday after being called up by Slaven Bilić to replace Werder Bremen striker Ivan Klasnić for the UEFA EURO 2008™ Group E game.

Klasnić ill
Bilić said: "Klasnić called and said he had flu and a high temperature. We agreed that it was best that he did not come. Instead of him we have called up Igor Budan." The 26-year-old Budan, who has scored five goals for Parma FC this season on loan from US Città di Palermo, previously played for Croatia at youth level, helping them finish third in the 1998 UEFA European Under-18 Championship.
