Catalin Munteanu has decided to stay on at FC Dinamo 1948 Bucuresti despite looking set to leave the Romanian UEFA Cup contenders during the winter break.

Dinamo u-turn
The midfielder was expected to join AFC Rapid Bucuresti after it was announced that he was eager to leave the Romanian league leaders, but he has now decided to stay put. "I accept the competition and I want to stay at FC Dinamo," he said. "I have two and a half years left on my contract with Dinamo and I will stay." Dinamo meet SL Benfica in the UEFA Cup Round of 32 in the spring.
