Benítez acclaim
The 18-year-old arrives at Anfield in a week where Liverpool's youth recruitment policy was called into question by a 6-3 League Cup defeat by Arsenal FC's talented second string. However, manager Rafael Benítez is in no doubt about the left-footed Insúa's credentials, saying: "He is a good, young player with a lot of potential." Liverpool take on holders FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 with the first leg taking place on 21 February.
