PSG curse Clément misfortune

Paris Saint-Germain FC have lost Jérémy Clément for the next month after the midfielder damaged a foot in his first game for the club.

Jérémy Clément's Paris Saint-Germain FC career has got off to an inauspicious start as the midfielder is expected to be out of action for the next month after damaging a foot in his first game for the club.

Early setback
The 23-year-old signed for PSG last Thursday, leaving Rangers FC after just six months, but sustained the injury ten minutes into his debut, Tuesday night's 1-0 win against Valenciennes FC that took the Parisian outfit into the French Cup quarter-finals. Clément was eventually replaced by Jérôme Rothen at half-time and now faces four weeks on the sidelines, although having played for Rangers in this season's UEFA Cup he was already ineligible for PSG's Round of 32 tie with AEK Athens FC next month.
