Thigh trouble returns for Rodríguez

Paris Saint-Germain FC are likely to be without forward Cristian Rodríguez for the first leg against SL Benfica due to a recurrence of a thigh injury.

Paris Saint-Germain FC are likely to be without Cristian Rodríguez for the first leg of their UEFA Cup Round of 16 tie against SL Benfica on Thursday night after the Uruguayan forward suffered a recurrence of a thigh injury.

Thigh trouble
The 21-year-old striker limped off midway through the first half of Saturday's 2-0 Ligue 1 defeat at CS Sedan-Ardennes, his first league appearance since 10 February when he scored his first Ligue 1 goal against AS Monaco FC. Rodríguez did appear in PSG's successful UEFA Cup Round of 32 tie against AEK Athens FC, however, sustaining the injury in the first leg in Greece on 14 February although it had healed sufficiently to allow him to play in the return match eight days later.
