Shoulder a burden for Dida

Dida may miss the first leg of AC Milan's semi-final at Manchester United FC on Tuesday week after the keeper suffered the recurrence of a shoulder injury.

AC Milan goalkeeper Dida may miss the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final against Manchester United FC after suffering the recurrence of a shoulder injury.

Recurring problem
The 33-year-old felt the injury again during Sunday's 3-1 Serie A win at FC Messina Peloro having been sidelined for three weeks with a similar ligament problem in January. The Brazilian international will definitely sit out Wednesday's Serie A game at Ascoli Calcio 1898 though the concern is he might also skip the trip to United on 24 April. Dida has been beset by injuries this term, playing just 22 Serie A matches as well as ten in the UEFA Champions League, having also been ruled out for a spell in November after damaging a tendon in his thigh.
