Toulouse FC centre-back Daniel Congré will miss his side's 2007/08 UEFA Champions League third qualifying round tie as he has been being sidelined for up to three months after undergoing shoulder surgery.

Repeat injury
Despite suffering a recurrence of a previous dislocation, Congré's surgery was delayed in order for the 22-year-old to help the side from France's south-west achieve their aim of finishing in third place. The Under-21 international, who played all 15 of the league matches in the league run-in, will not now return to action until early September, costing him his chance to play in August's two-legged qualifier for the UEFA Champions League group stage.
