Former Northern Ireland and Wolverhampton Wanderers FC forward Derek Dougan has died at the age of 69. Dougan scored more than 120 goals in 320 matches for Wolves and was a member of their victorious 1974 English League Cup side. The former Portsmouth FC, Blackburn Rovers FC, Aston Villa FC and Leicester City FC striker won 43 international caps and appeared at the 1958 FIFA World Cup finals. He was also a former chairman of the Professional Footballers' Association and fought hard for radical changes to the transfer system.
