Racing complete spree with Tchité

Real Racing Club Santander rounded off their summer spending six minutes before the transfer deadline, signing DR Congo forward Mohamed Tchité for €7.5m.

Real Racing Club Santander rounded off their summer spending six minutes before the transfer deadline with the signing of DR Congo forward Mohamed Tchité from RSC Anderlecht for a fee in the region of €7.5m.

Impressive campaign
The 23-year-old has signed a five-year deal for the Primera División outfit to end a spell of just over 12 months at Anderlecht who he joined from R. Standard de Liège. His one season at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium brought 20 goals and attracted the attentions of Racing, who made their move to make him their latest new name. Fabio Coltorti, Marcelino and Euzebiusz Smolarek have also arrived over the past seven days, along with United States Under-20 international midfielder Danny Szetela who has agreed a two-year deal. David Aganzo has departed, however, joining second-tier Deportivo Alavés on a two-year contract.
