S.S. Lazio defender Sebastiano Siviglia has suffered another injury blow after fracturing three fingers during a training ground incident.

Further woe
The 34-year-old centre-back underwent an operation last night and now has his left hand in plaster, meaning he is ruled out of the UEFA Champions League meeting at home to Real Madrid CF on 3 October. The news caps a disappointing start to the campaign for the veteran, who had just recovered from a thigh injury that had ruled him out of the start of the season.
