Grim debut for Santander's Marcano

Real Racing Club Santander defender Iván Marcano will be out of action for two months after breaking the fifth metatarsal bone in his right on his Primera División debut on Sunday, a 1-0 win at UD Almeria. The 20-year-old was forced to leave the pitch in the 79th minute and will now have to undergo surgery after the tests confirmed the fracture.
