Serie A leaders FC Internazionale Milano face a goalkeeping crisis after No1 Júlio César joined deputy Francesco Toldo on the sidelines.

Double setback
Júlio César had to be substituted at half-time of Sunday's 0-0 draw at US Città Palermo after succumbing to a back injury, making way for Paolo Orlandoni. The 28-year-old Brazilian international's regular understudy, Toldo, was unavailable for the game in Palermo having sustained a foot injury during his third league appearance of the season at Reggina Calcio on 20 October.

Worse news
It now turns out that the 35-year-old former Italy player has fractured the second metatarsal in his right foot. Inter have yet to reveal how long the two keepers will be out for, but Orlandoni, also 35, is expected to continue in goal against Genoa CFC on Wednesday.
