ACF Fiorentina defender Per Krøldrup will miss at least two Serie A matches after suffering a calf injury during last night's 1-1 UEFA Cup draw at AEK Athens FC.

Back for decider
The 28-year-old Danish international, who played all 90 minutes of the Group C fixture in the Greek capital, has been ruled out for around a fortnight – so he should be back for Fiorentina's final group game against FK Mladá Boleslav on 20 December. The Viola will aim to complete the job of qualifying that night and are strongly placed to do so, sitting top of Group C with five points from three matches. While Krøldrup is sidelined, striker Adrian Mutu is available for Sunday's visit of Serie A leaders FC Internazionale Milano after recovering from the thigh injury that kept him out for three weeks.
