Mnguni magic fools Madrid

A bright idea by Thabo Mnguni emphasises the flair within FC Lokomotiv Moskva's ranks.
FC Lokomotiv Moskva suffered a fruitless UEFA Champions League second group stage – especially unfortunate, because the team has skill in abundance.

Coming close
The Russian champions ran title-holders Real Madrid CF close in Moscow last month, and came very close to thwarting the crack Spanish side's ambitions of reaching the quarter-finals.

Neat one-two
In this sprightly first-half move, Lokomotiv's South African forward Thabo Mnguni uses his heel to fashion a neat one-two with Marat Izmailov and leave a hole in the visitors' rearguard, but Izmailov's shot is disappointingly off-target.
