An exchange in March and April will see pupils from Austria and Romania come together as part of EUROSCHOOLS, the official schools project of UEFA EURO 2008™.
An exchange in March and April will see pupils from Austria and Romania come together as part of EUROSCHOOLS, the official schools project of UEFA EURO 2008™.

Radio programme
Pupils from the Gymnasium Mössingerstrasse in Klagenfurt and the Brukenthal-Lyceum in Sibiu, Romania will be taking part in the exchange programe. The Austrian students will live with families in Sibiu for a week in March and conduct interviews about their hosts' attitudes to multilingualism, tolerance and EU membership to be aired as part of the Radio AGORA community radio project

Austrian hosts
In April, pupils from the Brukenthal-Lyceum will attend the Gymnasium Mössingerstrasse, where they will be greeted by Romanian songs, dances and specialities from their home country. The highlight of their visit will be the presentation of a film about Sibiu. EUROSCHOOLS 2008 sees over 200 schools from Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein acting as ambassadors for one of the 53 UEFA nations and doing a year of project work based on their chosen nation.
