Heidar Helguson has returned to the Iceland squad after a two-year absence for their opening FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Norway and Scotland on 6 and 10 September. The 31-year-old Bolton Wanderers FC striker will look to add to his 40 caps for his country; by contrast, Keflavík midfielder Hólmar Örn Rúnarsson is still seeking his first after being named in Ólafur Jóhannesson's 22-man selection.
