FC Dynamo Kyiv midfield player Valentin Belkevich has signed a contract extension with the Ukrainian champions.
Three-year contract
The Dynamo captain's contract was due to expire later this year but after negotiations with chairman Ihor Surkis, the 30-year-old has now agreed a new three-year contract. The Belarussian international joined Dynamo in 1995 from FC Dinamo Minsk and has collected seven league titles and three cups during his time at the club.
Player of the season
"I like everything in Ukraine and my future is connected to Kyiv and Dynamo", said Belkevich, who was voted the best player in Ukraine in 2002/03. Last season he played 38 matches, contributing six goals and 24 assists.
