Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven have signed Danish teenager Michael Jakobsen from B93 København.

Three-year contract
The 17-year-old defender has signed a three-year contract having impressed during a trial at the Philips stadium. Despite his tender age, Jakobsen has already played in the B93 first team and captained Denmark at the UEFA European Under-17 Championship in Portugal last month.

In Heintze's footsteps
PSV will hope Jakobsen, a left-back who can also play in the centre of defence, can follow in the footsteps of another Dane, Jan Heintze, who retired at the end of the season aged 39. Meanwhile, PSV have announced that striker Nyron Wau will spend next term on loan at first division Helmond Sport.
