Loaned to Roda
Addo's current deal had been due to expire next year but the Dutch champions decided to act early and give him a three-year extension. Despite the contract, PSV have also agreed to allow Addo to spend the forthcoming campaign on loan at Roda JC, after a similar spell in Kerkrade for the second half of last season.
Given a chance
The 24-year-old arrived in Eindhoven in 1999 from Club Brugge KV, but has failed to fully establish himself in the PSV lineup. However, the contract extension suggests that the club believe he may still prove his worth in time.
Promising talent
PSV have also announced that Dutch youth international Klaas Jan Huntelaar will be loaned to AGOVV Opgericht next season. The 19-year-old Huntelaar spent last season with De Graafschap but will now join PSV colleagues Koen Garritsen and Paul Verhaegh at AGOVV.
