Dynamo tempt Onischenko back

Denis Onischenko has returned to FC Dynamo Kyiv after his contract at Hapoel Tel-Aviv FC expired.

Ukrainian champions FC Dynamo Kyiv have signed Hapoel Tel-Aviv FC midfield player Denis Onischenko.

Free agent
The 25-year-old Ukrainian international has returned to Dynamo as a free agent after four seasons in Tel-Aviv, having won the Israeli title with Hapoel in 1999/00. Before his first spell with Dynamo, Onischenko played for FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk and FC Vorskla Poltava, and has been capped three times.

'I decided to change'
Explaining his decision to leave Israel, Onischenko said: "I decided to change my environment after my contract expired. A few Russian clubs were interested in me, but I wanted to play in the [UEFA] Champions League and accepted a five-year deal with Dynamo."

Dnipro deals
Dynamo regained the Ukrainian championship earlier this month from FC Shakhtar Donetsk, and will begin their Champions League campaign in the third qualifying round. Meanwhile, Dynamo have confirmed the sale of Ukrainian international defender Olexander Radchenko to Dnipro, who have also signed Olexander Rykin from FC Illichivets Mariupil.
